Project that waves national memory into the heart of urban life, creating a place that honors the past, serves the present and inspires the future.

Haskovo Artilery Park plan

The Monument to the 10th Rhodope Infantry Regiment is not just a historical symbol — it is a bearer of national memory, dignity and heroism. This is why the main idea of the project is transforming the surrounding area into a space that highlights its importance.

Zones inside the park

The entire concept is guided by the belief that public spaces must be functional, beautiful, and deeply meaningful. viting visitors to pause, reflect, and pay their respects. The park includes areas designed to meet diverse needs and interests while remaining unified in a coherent and sustainable concept. The space surrounding the monument is dedicated to quiet contemplation and remembrance, while the park’s outer edges will host zones for active recreation — including children’s playgrounds, multifunctional sports fields, a ropes course, skate zone, climbing wall, and an amphitheatrical meadow for events and leisure. A broad alley for seasonal markets and exhibitions will support cultural life and social gatherings.

Lake and seating

A moment for reflection and remembrance

The design envisions a wide, spacious plaza with abundant greenery, and ample seating — inviting visitors to pause and reflect. Surrounding the monument, a reflective water feature is planned to emphasize its significance, integrate it harmoniously into the composition, and provide a visual and physical separation from the surrounding space. Pergolas interwoven with the names of the regiment’s commanders create a meaningful connection to history and offer a place for rest.

Nature as an аctive еlement of the design

The landscaping is conceived not merely as a backdrop but as an active element in the experience — with rich, perennial vegetation, native and adapted species that offer seasonal beauty, and a special "wild garden" that fosters biodiversity and provides opportunities for educational and research activities. The integrated water elements are not only decorative but also serves ecological functions — including a biologically filtered lake for water recycling and irrigation.
